Currently, our staff consists of two. We are still very much in the start-up phase of our organization and look forward to growing as the need dictates.

Jennifer McCann (Founder & Director):

Jennifer was born and raised in Texas . She has a degree in Paramedics and is currently a full-time nursing student. She came to Richmond in 2007. Upon arriving in Richmond , Jennifer was struck by the plight of the homeless people see saw on the street. This touched her in a way that drove her to action.

Jennifer’s first instinct was to make sandwiches and, with Jeffrey’s help, distribute them to the homeless at one of the local parks. This action helped to bring into focus her vision that hunger in Richmond can be eradicated. Since then, Jennifer and Jeffrey have worked to make this vision a reality. In addition to fighting hunger, Jennifer is also proudly supports Breast Cancer Awareness and has been directly impacted by this horrible disease with the loss of her sister and a close personal call of her own.

Jeffrey McCann (Co-Founder & Director):

Jeffrey McCann grew up in Schenectady New York, graduated in 1985 at Linton High School, currently Schenectady High School. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at DeVry Institute of Technology, Columbus Ohio. He spent 15+ years in computer chip manufacturing.

Jeffrey and Jennifer got started by making sandwiches and driving through downtown Richmond, feeding those in need. It continued by collecting donated items from co-workers, associates and their friends.
